小細浦熊野大権現

熊野神社付きの権現舞として、船河原組権現舞から舞を習得し、およそ３０年前に立ち上げて活動をはじめる。毎年１月１日に小細浦内の各戸をまわっての悪魔払いや、神坂熊野神社の式例大祭での奉納、少し前までは地区の夏祭りへも参加。新しく開館した小細浦公民館落成時にも祝い舞を披露し、碁石海岸観光まつりへの出演など、地域のため、子どものためと話し合いを重ねながら活動する場を年々拡げている。

The Kobosoura-Kumano Daigongen was founded 30 years ago after learning the dance from Funagawara Gumi Gongenmai, the gongenmai from Kumano Shrine. Every year on January 1st, they go around each house in Kobosoura to dispel the bad spirits, perform a dedication to the annual festival at the Kamisaka Kumano Shrine, and until very recently, participated in the district summer festival.
They also performed a celebration dance at the newly opened Kobosoura Public Hall when it was completed, and appeared in events like Goishi Coast Tourism Festival.
The Kobosoura-Kumano Daigongen continues to discuss its expansion of their activities every year for the community and children.
